I am a physics graduate and PhD student. The two types of games I love most are strategy games (I currently enjoy Victoria 3) and pen and paper. My love for the former started with the classic, chess. Though I never was a particularly good player, I was obsessed with the game for some time as a child. Later I discovered MtG, and developed a passion for the game that was detracted from by only one thing: I thought the combat to be too straight-forward. Naturally, I decided to make up several versions of games that merged MtG and chess. Now imagine how excited I was when I found out about SW and learned that the game that I had been trying to create for several years was already out there!

I learned about the game on Shut Up & Sit Down, the YouTube channel. I didn't know about the first edition.

My favorite factions are Breakers and Cloaks. I just love the movement shenanigans!

Buff Sera, of course. And, I think I would have liked the game the tiniest of amounts better if the damage dealt had a bit less variety. I.e., if a three attack unit would deal one damage at minimum. But, honestly, the more I play the game, the less I have a problem with dice luck being a part of it. Having to have a back-up plan to account for the possibility that I may have angered the dice-gods by accidentally sacrificing the wrong goat does add to the game!
