My Summoner Wars (Hi)Story
Got the physical masterset in late 2024 after watching several reviews. Due to past experience in the childhood with card games such as Pokemon and Yugioh, then later with Hearthstone, Disgaea/Final Fantasy Tactics, I was sure SW would click for me. Before starting online I found SW Zone looking for basic guidance, and right after I was looking for any faction that could compete against pre-nerf DG and CO. I've been playing a lot daily.
Favourite faction and favourite card
EC is my favourite faction as I just love the interaction between Edia and the advisors, but the whole SH kit is very close. Setting up Glinting speed feels really good: my heart goes faster, sometimes there is some puzzly shenanigans, and frequently we must check the odds.
What would I change about Summoner Wars
Not sure. I prefer conservative approach on balancing factions as it is.
Games beside Summoner Wars
Nowadays I'm mostly playing good 1v1 games with girlfriend: 7 Wonders duel, Dominion and Res Arcana. 4 player: Ra, Blue moon city, King of Tokyo
