First found out about Summoner Wars shortly after its release in 2009. I was so excited because it appeared to be the game of my dreams. Assymeyric magical armies with customization possibilities and a chess vibe?? Amazing! I acquired everything for the first 6 factions but, unfortunately, I didn't have anyone to play with so the magic died, so to speak. Fast forward 11 years to Summoner Wars 2nd edition and I got pumped all over again. Now I'm teaching my wife and kids to play and have been part of the league since season 1.

Tough one but I'll say Vanguards for my favorite faction. I love rooting for the underdog... My favorite card is Admiral. His abilities plus the art brings a smile to my face every time he hits the table.

Race for the Galaxy has probably gotten hundreds of plays in my house, that's a popular one. Race for the Galaxy even traveled with my wife and I to Africa. Star Realms had a special place for me as well. 7 Wonders is probably the most played currently because it scales so well for large groups.
